I am the illustrator/artist half of our partnership, Lori Anzalone. I graduated with a BFA from Parson’s School of Design, NYC. I’ve won a multitude of awards for my illustration, as well as having shown in the prestigious New York Society of Illustrators exhibition. My illustrations are all digital, I work in Photoshop, but originate in a variety of media, including airbrush and styles in watercolor, acrylic, oil, ink and pencil. Sketches can be provided if needed to assist in concept or composition at a project’s start.

Illustration clients include: Celestial Seasonings, The Hartford, the National Audubon Society, the Los Angeles Zoo, and the United Nations.

I am the other half, our studio photographer, Russ Avarella. I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. Also a winner of numerous awards, I honed my skills behind an 8×10 and 4×5 camera. Classically trained, I don’t just “illuminate”­ my subjects, I know how to light. The digital technology we have at our fingertips today is truly exceptional, but my approach to photography doesn’t rely on it. I knew how to put it there before photoshop.

Photography clients include: The New Jersey Lottery, Hunter Douglas, Sony, Sherwin Williams, Becton Dickinson and Casio.

Working together, we specialize in photo illustration. Beautiful photography is styled, retouched and photo illustrated by a truly accomplished team. Software can be learned by anyone, even technically mastered. The difference, artistically, is knowing what to do with it. We bring decades of insight, experience and sophistication to our projects. We listen, we think and we problem solve.
